WPA Private Healthcare Plans

WPA has specialist plans for both individuals and corporations. Individual health plans are as follows:

  • Flexible Health Insurance – described as ideal for individuals and families. Discounts available for self-employed and professionals. Flexible benefits allow a choice of three different levels of cover. Optional cover for life-saving cancer drugs not available on the NHS.
  • XS Health Insurance – for children or students. With low premium levels but maximum protection, cover is up to £150,000 per year for hospital and out-patient treatment, scans, tests, physiotherapy and cancer cover. Offers a unique "rolling excess" of £1,500 per person.
  • Active Health Insurance – for those aged 55 and over (no upper age limit). £150,000 cover per year for hospital and specialist treatment. Cover applies both for UK and abroad.

Corporate Health plans consist of:

  • Company Healthcare Insurance – for companies with three or more employees, with great flexibility of choice with level of benefits. Each employee and their dependants can have different levels of cover.
  • Protocol Corporate Healthcare Trust – for companies with 400 or more employees who want to have self-funding of employees' healthcare. WPA provides a high degree of customer service support with claims cost management expertise.
  • NHS Top-Up – for companies with three or more employees. Cashback for routine dental and optical treatment, second opinion from a specialist, physiotherapy, hospital stay etc. Also provides cover in the EEA and Switzerland for emergency dental, medical and hospital treatment. Option to provide cover for cancer drugs not provided by the NHS and includes NHS parking charges.

NHS top-up and dental plans are as follows:

  • NHS Top-Up – to provide a supplement to the treatment provded by the NHS. Cashback for routine dental and optical treatment, specialist second opinion, physiotherapy etc. Emergency European cover, cancer drugs not available on the NHS and NHS car parking charges.
  • Providential – provides dental cover including pre-existing conditions for general dental treatment.
  • NHS top-up and dental – for companies wanting to provide these as employee benefits. Company funded or discounted voluntary basis.
